Ensemble is currently looking to grow our Finance team with an individual who is eager to assist in all facets of accounting in the role of Junior Accountant.
The Junior Accountant role is perfect for you if you:
- Are detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Are a team player, yet able to execute independently with minimal oversight.
- Have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Are flexible, with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to own initiatives from concept to completion.
- Have a diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of month-end procedures, such as billing, account reconciliation, and GST/PST reporting.
- Prepare and make bank deposits as needed.
- Process vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Verify and reconcile timesheets with both internal and customer time tracking systems.
- Assist with benefits administration as needed.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing confidential documentation.
- Assist with general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, processing mail, and ensuring staff timesheets are submitted in a timely manner.
